SAP program for Victoria Polytechnic University
The issue of finding new qualified specialists is acute for SAP, so the company decided to enter into a partnership with Victoria Polytechnic University. SAP plans to implement a training program aimed at developing specialists with SAP skills in Australia.
The program will begin with the first group of 38 people who will complete a 12-week course. Students will study modules S/4 HANA Financial Accounting and S/4 HANA Management Accounting for SAP Consultants. Upon completion of this course, students will have the opportunity to apply for a 12-week internship with a SAP customer or partner.
XM Cyber and SAP partnership
XM Cyber, one of the leading hybrid cloud security companies, announced a partnership with SAP. Building on the power of XM Cyber’s Exposure Management Platform and attack path technology, COB will help organizations move their data and processes to the cloud with less risk. For example, this will be relevant for companies that already use SAP solutions such as RISE with SAP and SAP eCommerce Cloud and others.
SAP customers will be able to leverage the company’s risk management technology, gaining insight into their entire attack surface locally and in the cloud, allowing malicious activity to be detected before an attack is made.
SAP Responsible Design and Production solving plastic waste problem
Plastic waste has created a huge problem for the planet in recent years, and governments around the world are currently working on resolving this issue – for example, the tax on plastic packaging that is imposed on companies – take, for example, a European Plastic Packaging Levy introduced in 2021. Such restrictions should help reduce the amount of virgin plastic used.
If your company uses plastic and plastic packaging, you need to be aware of existing laws and how SAP can help you regulate this issue. For example, you should look into SAP Responsible Design and Production, a cloud-based solution specifically designed to help customers manage packaging and regulatory risk in global markets. The solution also helps to move towards a sustainable packaging portfolio.
